PIEDMONT AIRLINES
Fleet Overview

During its 41 years of service, Piedmont Airlines went from a "puddle jumper", operating three second-hand propeller planes, to a major airline with a fleet of jet airliners that could cruise at 580 mph and fly across the Atlantic Ocean. In all, Piedmont operated 13 different airplanes during its history, not counting smaller aircraft operated by its regional and commuter airlines including it's wholly owned subsidiary HENSON AIRLINES, known today as Piedmont Airlines operating as American Eagle.
